A photographic project that portrays everyday scenes, a priori without transcendence, but which on many occasions contain an immense visual richness, even transmitting meanings beyond the image itself.
“Ordinary people… and other species” is also an extraordinary photography and poetry book that was presented in León in December of 2018 with an excellent reception. In the book, Luis Vidal’s photographs share space and are enriched by Nuria Antón’s poetry.
A SOLIDARY PROJECT
The author wanted “Ordinary people” to be more than just an artistic expression, which is why he has donated all the proceeds from the project in equal shares to two non-profit associations. On the one hand to León’s Parkinson Association and on the other hand to Mundo Ético. Find out what they do.
Luis Vidal is a photographer who, through his work, tries to show the things that happen around him, in his daily life, in the most honest and artistic way possible. His passion for photography, his enterprising nature and his interest in today’s society and in the ordinary people who represent it, has led him to complete and transfer his work of recent years to this project.
